First time we've been to the Village Gate since it reopened in December. Went for the live music and had a lovely evening, my teenage kids were dancing all evening. Staff are really friendly and looking at the menu, prices are reasonable and choices are good. Will definitely go again.
Very nice, good food and service. Like the way the new management has set it up. Service was speedy and attentive.

Amazing atmosphere and food!
Food was tasty but only half the menu was available and they don't have a wine list! The waitress did say they were implementing a new menu soon but it would be nice to see that reflected on the website. Lovely views in the small garden. A decent place to pop into if you're passing through and want a pint but I won't be going out of my way to go again.
