Very welcoming and cosy pub to visit. Had a late lunch with my wife, thoroughly enjoyed the food, well priced and full of flavour. Quick service with kind staff who were welcoming and open to discuss their offerings to us. Lovely atmosphere, well worth attending and will head back again

Today we had our Christmas lunch at The Firescrest. Fantastic. The staff went above and beyond to keep us happy and welcomed us like family. The food was amazing. Cant recommend enough.. Brilliant
We visited this pub a long time ago and felt it was not a favourite. Since then it must have changed hands. There was a lovely atmosphere, real log fire, very welcoming. The food was really excellent. I also think some building work has taken place. The layout seemed different. Would definitely recommend.
I have been a regular visitor to the Firecrest for many years and I have never been disappointed with a meal there.There is a good selection of food on the menu and the portions are generous.The staff are friendly and they make you feel welcome.On a cold winter's day it is comforting to be able to sit by a real log fire and enjoy the radiated warmth.This pub is located on a very busy road and is best approached by car - there is a large car park but beware of the pot holes on a dark evening!
